Types of Classes (quick list)

Please note: During Covid-19 health restrictions, we may need to change what classes are offered, and whether they are live, in-person, or online via Zoom. For the latest updates, please check announcements on Latest News on the home page, or the FAQ page, which is updated for each semester. You can email us anytime with your questions or concerns.

All our classes have a family feel, and give children a chance to learn from - and teach - each other. Each one participates at the level that's comfortable for her or him. Each weekly class is 6 to 12 children (classes are smaller when Covid protocols are applicable) and their parent(s) or caregiver. Our trained teachers gather all in an informal circle to sing, play, enjoy movement games and explore instruments together during the Play-Along segment. The relaxed atmosphere helps everyone learn! Children learn basic music skills, and the grownups learn ways to share musical fun with all their children at home as well as in class.

Mixed-Age Classes. Most of our classes are this type, for mobile infants up to age 5 and their parent(s) or caregiver. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of a broad range of ages and abilities. Extra fun for siblings who can attend the same class! More details here.

Babies-OnlyFor non-mobile infants up to 8 months and their parent(s) or caregiver. Brain-building tips and new ways to interact through music at home. Babies are also welcome in all our Mixed-Age classes (except Rhythm Kids). More details here.

Rhythm Kids. For your older children, ages K-3. You're welcome as a parent or caregiver, but adult participation isn't required in this class (except when Covid protocols are applicable). Kiddos develop musical leadership with authentic djembe drums. More details here.

Music Together® con Español (currently on hold). No bilingual skills necessary! A pressure-free way to introduce your child to a 2nd language with our songs in English and Spanish. For mobile infants up to age 5 and their parent(s) or caregiver. More details here.
